Major in Agricultural Business - (AGBS)
Agricultural business prepares you for a career as a decision maker who will apply business management concepts to agricultural businesses. We offer a B.S.A. degree with a major in Agricultural Business, which has three areas of concentration, and a minor in Agricultural Business.
Agribusiness concentrations are:
Agribusiness Management and Marketing
For students interested in working in food and agriculture businesses, including firms involved in food processing, commodity merchandising and commodity storage and transportation.
Agricultural Economics
For students who plan to enter graduate school to obtain teaching or research position with a university or public agency or pursue a career in agribusiness or economics research and analysis.
Pre-Law/AgLaw Program
For students who wish to go to law school after completing their baccalaureate degree or pursue a career in political advocacy or public policy. The graduate program in Agricultural Law at the University of Arkansas is the only such program in the United States that offers a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in agricultural law.
